be the light

bold and beautiful

a joyous light that shines so bright

a soul who reminds me of the need to fight

fight for myself,

stop trying to be someone else

a reciprocal message of the love we desire

to the innocent angels who were given a choice:

adapt the amor that they so proudly wear

constrain the light

that is barely even there

or suddenly your story will soon start to disappear

and yet again, there’s will be the only one we hear

resilience , perseverance , and strength

we carry the traits of our ancestors who fought so hard to survive

who FOUGHT so hard for US to survive

who amongst the fight

lost their light

a light that is now on standby,

this time waiting to ignite

this time, explosive as a mf dynamite

and if you so happened to be in that line of sight

you too will begin to ignite

because that’s how you were taught how to fight

but im here to tell them they’re wrong

im here to tell ask them if we can pls just start getting along

before that light within us

is gone.
