a reminder

On the hard days remember all that you stand for, all that you are, all that you have accomplished, and all that is yet to come. You fucking did it bitch you made it through the day THANK GOD bc girrrllll finding the will to live… on these days remember why you’re here what you’re here for all the lives you will have an impact on the things you’ll do the places you’ll go. You have a bright future ahead of you elias, life hasn’t always been easy for you but you somehow have managed to take all your painful experiences and grow. You are constantly blooming you are a flower that is being nourished every second of the day. Remember while sometimes law school may seem annoying and overwhelming it is your opportunity for nourishment. You were meant to be here. You were meant to be educated on the law , learn how to interpret the law , and use your life experiences to change the law bitch!!! You are so so special and sometimes (thanks to systematic oppression) it is easy to forget that. You are not like your peers. “You are you and thats what makes you special”. No truer words were ever spoken. Don’t lose your light. There will be gusts of wind that knock you off your course sometimes but float like a leaf through it all . Nothing is permanent . Change is hard but it is necessary. Your life is a continuous representation of how what is meant to be will be. Don’t pushback SOAR!! These negative emotions you’re feeling are… idk what they are girl but it's not you. Don't overwhelm yourself. Take charge of your life and enjoy every second of it because every second is precious and necessary. Don't view school as a chore. Take pride in the accomplishment that it is. Care enough to put in the work… so many sacrifices were made for you to be here.
